Eligibity

General conditions of access to the study cycle leading to the doctor’s degree: a) Holders of a master’s degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a graduation degree, holders of a particularly relevant academic or scientific curriculum that is recognized as attesting ability to carry out the study cycle

Students who meet the general conditions of access to study cycles conducive to the doctor’s degree and can demonstrate that they have at least one of the basic scientific areas of the SC (or similar):

• Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Mathematics, Statistics
• Medicine, Health Sciences and Technologies
• Psychology, Economics and Management

Preferably, students should have had prior contact with training and / or research in topics of data science, intelligent data analysis, health informatics or clinical and health services research. In addition, taking into account that the classes will be in English, candidates must have (preferably certified) proficiency skills in oral and written English.

The cycle of studies has 3 specialties. Candidates will be admitted to the cycle of studies in one of the three specialties. If the candidate has a preference for one or two of the specialties, they must specify your preference in the application process. The Scientific Committee will allocate the candidates admitted to a specialty, taking into account the preference of the candidate, as well as the analysis of the CV, letter of motivation and selection interview. The candidate will only be able to enroll in the specialty to which they have been allocated. The organization of the study cycle reserves the right of not opening all specialties.

Documents to be submitted in the application process: – Identification document or data form of the identification document; – Consent for the submission of Identification Documents (if applicable); – Curriculum vitae indicating in particular: academic curriculum, scientific production and relevant professional experience; – Certificate of graduation; – Certificate of completion of master’s degree (if applicable); – Letter of motivation explaining the order of preference of the specialties (if applicable), research and translation interests; – Other relevant documents (research project, letters of recommendation …).

Candidates who have not yet completed the academic degree of access – a) and b) of the general conditions of access to the study cycle – may be accepted in the application process, provided that they submit their certificate of completion at the time of enrollment.
